On December 19, the intelligent train card bulk spiral leveling machine was installed and debugged in the second branch of Zhanjiang Port Group and was successfully put into use. Through the field test, the spiral flat material machine can realize unmanned automatic operation and achieve good flat material effect (see the comparison chart of flat card effect). The rated flat card speed of the machine is 40 knots per hour, which is much higher than the original manual flat card. According to the calculation of 150000 cards loaded by the second branch in 2012, the loading building, which accounts for the 2/3 of the loading capacity, can save nearly 800000 yuan if only one item of labor cost per year is used.
