The training seminar on safety management and typhoon, flood prevention in transportation port and shipping systems has successfully launched in Zhanjiang

From May 14th to 18th, 2024, the "Training Course on Safety Management, Typhoon and Flood Prevention in Transportation Port and Shipping Systems" jointly organized by Guangdong Port Association and Guangzhou Port and Shipping Association was successfully launched in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province. A total of 48 participants from port enterprises and related institutions in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhanjiang, Shantou, Foshan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Yangjiang, Maoming, Shaoguan, Yunfu, and Chaozhou attended the training course. Yu Jianhao, the Advisor of the Professional Committee of Guangdong Port Association, attended the training course and delivered a motivational speech at the opening ceremony. The training course was hosted by Liao Guowu, the deputy secretary general.
Our General Manager, Mr. Yang Zhong, was invited to attend the conference. He employed a combination of PPT presentations and physical models to share and exchange ideas with the attending leaders and participants in a visual and detailed manner about the anti-sudden gust technology of Wind Self-locking Anti-climber, as well as the research findings of the new automated windproof system.
After the sharing session, the association organized the participants to visit the Zhanjiang Port Group for a field observation, where to learned about the experiences of the Zhanjiang Port in safety management and typhoon prevention. The participants were also arranged to "retrace the inspection route of President Xi Jinping's visit to Xuwen Port in Zhanjiang, and revisit the spirit of President's relevant important speeches and instructions."
