The "Wuhan K-crane Cup" Faculty Badminton Competition for Staff and Faculty of the School of Transportation and Logistics Engineering, Wuhan University of Technology, sponsored by our company, was successfully held on May 9, 2024, at the Navigation Fitness Training Center in the Yu district campus.
This competition featured eight teams comprising over 50 participants from 13 union groups. Prior to the competition, Xiao Yaogen, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, delivered a speech expressing gratitude to Wuhan K-crane Company and its general manager, alumnus Yang Zhong, for their strong support. Ms. Yin Liang, the chief referee of the competition, announced the competition rules, and Yang Zhong, the general manager of Wuhan K-crane Ocean Lifting Technology Co., Ltd., served the opening shot of the competition.
The atmosphere at the competition site was warm, with continuous applause. On the court, the participants demonstrated their superb badminton skills and excellent teamwork spirit. Every moment was filled with passion and vitality. Off the court, cheerleaders waved flags and shouted encouragement, creating a lively atmosphere. After four intense rounds of competition, the Department of Transportation Management emerged as the champion, followed by the Department of Road and Bridge Engineering in second place, the Department of Traffic Engineering in third place, and the Department of Mechanical Design in fourth place.
Through the "meeting friends on the court" approach, our company and the School of Transportation and Logistics Engineering have strengthened their mutual understanding and feelings in sports, laying the foundation for further deepening cooperation and exchanges between the school and the enterprise.
