Ningbo Daxie Container Terminal successfully completes Wind Self-locking Anti-climber project
Release time:
2024-12-20
On December 18, 2024, the Wind Self-locking Anti-climber project, jointly implemented by Ningbo Daxie Terminal, ZPMC, and Wuhan K-crane Ocean, was successfully completed the research and development, as well as the ability verification against sudden gusts of up to 55m/s on 1# bridge crane, and was put into trial operation.
This project addresses the issue of preventing sudden gusts for large port machinery equipment, achieving mechanical self-locking at any position along the track for bridge cranes, and enhancing their windproof reliability and capacity. It also designs a convenient windproof capacity detection method and device to precisely measure the windproof and anti-skid force of the equipment. The Wind Self-locking Anti-climber, which is part of the project, utilizes wind-powered self-locking anti-skid technology, directly using wind as the driving force for the equipment's windproof and anti-skid force, enabling mechanical self-locking at any position along the track for large port machinery equipment. The three-dimensional space following technology solves the adaptability issue of rail-clamping windproof devices to track conditions. A convenient detection method and device for windproof and anti-skid capacity have been developed, enabling convenient, non-destructive, and precise measurement of the windproof and anti-skid capacity of large port machinery equipment.
This project is our company's first Wind Self-locking Anti-climber project in Zhejiang harbours. The on-site windproof capacity verification also invited relevant leaders from Ningbo Daxie Container Terminal, Ningbo Maritime Safety Administration, and ZPMC to participate and witness. The implementation results of this project have established a safety protection and monitoring system for preventing sudden gusts for large port machinery equipment, effectively solving the industry challenge of preventing sudden gusts for such equipment.
