On the morning of May 18, 2025, the 2025 Port High-Tech Forum & 70th Anniversary Celebration of Academic Establishment in Port Machinery was grandly held at the Yujiatou Campus of Wuhan University of Technology. Over 800 alumni, alongside representatives from port enterprises and universities across China, gathered to discuss the development of the port machinery industry and plan for future innovative paths. Our company was invited to participate in the event and signed a comprehensive cooperation framework agreement with Wuhan University of Technology, marking the beginning of a new chapter of in-depth cooperation between the two sides in strategic development, scientific research, talent cultivation, and other fields.
Mr. Yang Zhong, the founder of our company, is a proud alumnus of Wuhan University of Technology's port machinery program, has dedicated decades to the port equipment industry with unwavering commitment. Since establishing the company in 2011, he has led his team to focus on the research and development of new technologies and equipment for port logistics, as well as the planning and design of port logistics systems. With the core development direction of tackling the challenges and pain points in port operations, the team has relentlessly pursued innovative solutions for bulk cargo logistics. Through years of technological breakthroughs and innovative practices, the company has successfully developed a range of innovative products with completely independent intellectual property rights, including: Wind Self-locking Anti-climber, Intelligent Spiral Leveling Machine, Rigid-flexible Coupled Adaptive Bucket Wheel, and High-efficiency Screw Bucket Continuous Ship Unloader. These products aim to drive technological upgrades in the lifting and transport equipment industry and, more importantly, provide solid technical support for breaking foreign technological monopolies and participating in international competition.
At this high-tech forum, the topic "Research and Development of the New Fully Automatic Screw Bucket Continuous Ship Unloader," shared by Professor Yuan Jianming from the School of Transportation and Logistics Engineering at Wuhan University of Technology, is an innovative achievement jointly accomplished by our company, Wuhan University of Technology, and Shandong Port Group. The emergence of this fully independently innovative product with complete intellectual property rights marks a significant breakthrough for China in the field of bulk cargo fully automated continuous ship unloading technology. It offers a unique Chinese solution to the global challenge of bulk cargo ship unloading, sparking lively discussions among industry experts and enterprise representatives at the forum.
Looking back at history, the Port Machinery program at Wuhan University of Technology has traversed a glorious journey of seven decades. As the first higher education unit in China to systematically cultivate talents in port machinery, the program achieved a historic leap in the 1970s-1980s by localizing the production of core port equipment in China, marking the transition from "non-existence to existence." This milestone not only completely ended the passive situation where China's port machinery technology was constrained by others but also propelled "Chinese port machinery" onto the global stage as a pioneer in the industry, laying a solid intellectual and technological foundation for China's transformation from a "major port country" to a "powerful port country."
